Water Lilies: This ring was inspired by the intricate pattern of water lilies, or lotus. In some Eastern religions, the lotus was used in iconography to represent purity. The Buddha, for example, is often depicted on a lotus throne. Those who are attracted to this design may enjoy the metaphor of a plant that lives in water. The lily rises from the bottom of a muddy swamp, representing the blessing of a divine consciousness untouched by trials and tribulations of our day to day lives.
